Information Services

~provides value-added support for the City's business requirements. The support services comprise telephone systems, local area networks, wide area networks, desktop and server-based hardware and software as well as business systems development and special projects.

The Information Services Department provides primary support for all of the City's systems. These systems include the local and wide-area network, telephone systems, server-based hardware and software as well as provide business systems development. This department is also primarily responsible for the management of the City's website. The program budgeted herein recognizes and addresses the importance of the overall support mission of the information systems and the need for in-house management of such systems to maximize the value of each tax and utility dollar expended.

Information Services is currently staffed by 2 FTE's. The Information Services Manager and Information Services Support Specialist. The Information Services Manager assumes responsibility for City-wide Information Systems and the Information Services Support Specialist assumes responsibility for supporting the City-wide Information Systems.
