Departments

• City Clerk: Among many other things, the Clerk's department handles public records, licenses and permits, and damage claims.
• Finance: Some primary responsibilities of the Finance Department are utility billing, taxes, handling the City budget, and paying invoices.
• Human Resources: The HR Department handles employment related services.
• Information Systems: The IS Department handles all City Systems, which includes telephones, computer networks, and the City website.
• Municipal Court: The City's Municipal Court handles traffic citations, misdemeanors, and gross misdemeanors occuring within the City limits.
• Parks and Recreation: The main duties of the Parks and Recreation department are to develop new city parks and to provide recreation programs and services to City residents.
• Planning and Building: Among it's responsibilities, the Planning and Building Department is in charge of permits and applications related to the building process.
• Police: The Poulsbo Police Department helps to keep our City's streets safe and free from crime.
• Public Works: Some of the main duties of the Public Works department are maintaining City streets, utilities, and buildings.
