City Parks
City parks are opened year around, and hours are "dawn-to-dusk". For information about the city parks, including rentals and facilities available, call the Parks and Recreation at 779-9898.
The Poulsbo Park and Recreation Commission meets the 4th Monday of each month, 7 pm, in the City Council chambers. The public is welcome!
Liberty Bay Park
Located in downtown Poulsbo on the waterfront, this beautiful park includes Kvelstad pavilion (available for private rentals), restrooms, picnic areas, and a great view of Liberty Bay and the Poulsbo marina. A boardwalk takes walkers to neighboring American Legion Park.
American Legion Park
This small but entertaining park is located at the north end of the Boardwalk on Liberty Bay, and has a playground, trails and restrooms.
Frank Raab Park
Raab Park is located at the top of Caldart Avenue, and includes the Children's Youth Garden, a Community P-Patch, a picnic shelter available for private rental, playground, stage, sand volleyball court, a field, a full sized basketball court, 1/3 mile walking trail, restrooms, a leash free area for dogs known as Bark Park, and the Skate Park. The address is 18349 Caldart Avenue NE.
Lions Park
This neighborhood park is located at the corner of 6th Avenue and Fjord Drive. Amenities include two tennis courts, restrooms, picnic areas, and a playground for a variety of ages.
Betty Iverson Kiwanis Park
This neighborhood park is on 1st Avenue NE near the Scandia Knolls Apartments. It has a play area and a picnic shelter.
Wilderness Park
This undeveloped park is located at the corner of Caldart and Hostmark Streets, and has walking trails.
Nelson Park
Phase 1 was completed in June 2004, and includes a picnic shelter with tables, BBQ grills, restrooms, benches, and a children’s playground. Future phases will include trails throughout the property. Two projects on the site have been restored by the non-profit organization, the Bight of Poulsbo. These include the Nelson family farmhouse, restored in 2003 and currently home to the park caretaker; and the Martinson cabin, a 100-year old structure that was donated and re-constructed on the site. Oyster Plant Park
The upland portions of this small, passive park on Liberty Bay along Fjord Drive include a seating area, bird watching, a viewing pier, picnic tables, and plantings. The Poulsbo Rotary Club was instrumental in the design and construction of the park.
Forest Rock Hills
Amenities at this neighborhood park at the north end of 12th Avenue include a playground, trails and picnicking areas.

Net Shed Vista
This viewing area on Fjord Drive overlooks Liberty Bay. Picnic tables and benches provide a nice area to relax while on a walk.

Poulsbo's Fish Park
The city's newest purchase in 2002, this 13 acre piece of property on the north side of Lindvig Way along the Dogfish Creek estuary and is planned for a future nature park and habitat restoration. The property was purchased with grant money, and volunteers will do much of the restoration work. A master plan of the site was completed in 2004. The address is 228 NW Lindvig Way. Austurbruin Park
This two-acre park in the Austerbruin neighborhood on Curt Rudolph Road is home to a playground, picnicking and trails.
Centennial Park

This undeveloped 2.5 acre site along Dogfish Creek sits at the corner of 7th Avenue NE and Iverson Street. A master plan has been developed, and includes plans to restore, renovate and protect the natural resources existing on the site. It also includes pedestrain trails, a shelter, picnic tables, benches and bridges. Park development work on the west side of the creek will be done in preparation of the official park opening on September 13, 2008.
Poulsbo's Urban Forestry Program
The City of Poulsbo Tree Board consists of arborists, nursery and landscape professionals, elected officials, and citizens, all volunteering their time. They contribute to Poulsbo's attractiveness and vitality through proper tree management. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month. Citizen participation from inside or outside of the city is welcomed. Poulsbo is a 1997 through 2007 Tree City USA, awarded by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
