Sandwich Board Sign Permit Information
The City of Poulsbo will begin accepting applications for sandwich board sign permits beginning on November 1, 2013. A permit is required for all sandwich board signs, irrespective of where they are located, including signs that are on private property. All sandwich board signs are required to have a permit no later than January 2, 2014.
As of April 2014, the City Council adopted a new fee schedule that removed the $50.00 fee for sandwich board sign permits. This was done to lessen the economic impact on the City’s business owners and to encourage voluntary compliance with the regulations. Therefore, no fee is required to submit for a sandwich board sign permit. Some documents below may reference a $50.00 fee, but this can be disregarded.
