Registration for Winter Break Camps and Winter Recreational Basketball Leagues is in progress and will continue until full.
Registration for all other programs begins at 8:00 am on Friday, December 12, 2025.

We are excited to share our Winter Activity Guide, full of both new and returning favorite programs for all ages and interests. We have added 41 brand new activities, and are hopeful you can find the perfect one for you!
There are lots of exciting things brewing here at Poulsbo Parks & Recreation. Registration is open now for our winter break camps, which include two new KCMT musical theater camps, gymnastics camps for all levels, dance camps in collaboration with InMotion Performing Arts Studio, and multi-sport camps with Skyhawks. We are also still taking registrations for Winter Recreational Basketball, Grades 1-8 for both boys and girls.
Registration for our winter classes from January through March begins on Friday, December 12.

Our senior Coffee Club series features many new offerings this winter, including Emergency Preparedness with the City of Poulsbo’s Emergency Manage Dan Schoonmaker, Kitsap Transit Q&A with transit staff, and Living History from the Suquamish Tribe with Suquamish Museum staff.
Do you have kids with a flair for the performing arts? Returning music instructor Shyrl Kinert from Inspire Piano LLC is bringing Kinder Piano Basics group lessons to our young musicians aged 5 and 6. We have also added theater classes for all ages and abilities, from Tiny Tales Theater for ages 3-5, to Intro to Musical Theater for elementary schoolers aged 7-10 and Broadway Bootcamp for ages 10-13, all with Shannon Leigh.
If visual art is more your style, you will be pleased to know that we have a new art teacher on staff! Beverly Jewett is joining us in the new year, and will be expanding our art offerings with Beginner Watercolor, Mixed Media/Collage Accordion Book, and Paper Quilling for ages 8 and up. Returning instructor Cathy Johnson is also offering new classes in Laser cut art with her DIY Wooden Laser-Cut Nature/Fantasy Art Magnet class, Ocean Creature Box class, Lantern Gnome class, and Nature Lantern class.
An exciting new partnership we would like to bring to your attention is with Kitsap Humane Society, who will be leading animal education classes in Kitten Development and Care, Bottle Baby Boot Camp, and Foster Foundations. Kitsap Martial Arts is another new partner, who will be offering Introduction to Aikido classes for both families and individual adults.
Making some new year’s resolutions to get in better shape? Check out our fitness classes! If you don’t enjoy traditional yoga and weight classes, try British Military Saber or German Longsword classes to get your blood pumping.
