The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to enrich the quality of life by serving the community’s needs for quality and affordable educational and recreational programs, parks and services to all residents and visitors.
It is the vision of the Poulsbo Parks and Recreation Department to be the heart of a healthy community through sustainable, safe, and diverse programs and open spaces, where all residents and visitors feel inspired to live, play, learn, and thrive.

We value our role as the guardians of the community’s open spaces and are dedicated to responsibly managing and caring for our natural, cultural, and physical resources for current and future generations.
Poulsbo Parks and Recreation typically offers a full range of classes, activities, sports programs, and camps for all ages; rents out facilities at city parks and at the recreation center; and manages 17 city parks totaling 133 acres and 6 miles of trails. Due to Covid 19 impacts, programs are limited at this time.

Poulsbo Parks and Recreation offices are located at 19540 Front Street, just one block north of Martha and Mary Health Care Center.
We are currently open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. We are closed for lunch from 11:30 am-12:00 noon.
Beginning July 25, 2022, our office hours will be:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-6:00 pm. Closed for lunch from 11:30 am-12:00 noon.
Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Closed for lunch from 11:30 am-12:00 noon.

If you enjoy visiting Poulsbo’s beautiful parks or take part in some of the recreational activities and special events that are hosted in Poulsbo each year, you now have a new way to become involved from the ground level.
